Durable insulated roller shutters
We supply and install two different types of lath for our insulated steel roller shutter doors:
- Insuroll – Each individual lath is made up of two interlocking sections which are 100mm deep with a twin indented face. It is built with nylon end locks to form the complete curtain. This roller shutter provides a “U” value of 0.69 w/m2k and an acoustic value of 18dBa
- The foam filled lath is a double skin profile roll formed from a single steel section featuring hot injection polyurethane central core. The 75mm deep lath has a ”U” value of 2.4 w/m2k and a “R” value of 0.42 m2.k/W and an acoustic value of 21dBa. The infill bonds to the internal face of the section providing strength, rigidity and of course, excellent thermal and acoustic values.
Motorised operation
Insulated roller shutter doors are power operated. There is no manual option available to operate them. We have three types of motors all with integral manual overrides:
- Single phase tube motor
- Single phase industrial motor - both flange mount (JM type) and direct drive
- 3-phase industrial motor - both flange and direct drive
Insulated roller shutter finishes
Both options can be standard galvanized or can be part or fully powder coated to almost any standard RAL or BS colour.
On the Insuroll, a popular option is to have one face of the curtain finished in Plastisol HPS2000 from any of the below colours:
White, Black, Goosewing Grey, Merlin Gre, Oceana Blue, Sargasso Blue. Solent Blue, Olive Green, Heritage Green, Moorland Green, Juniper Green, Van dyke Brown, Mushroom, Aztec Yellow and Poppy Red
On the Insufoam, there is a limited number of plastisol finished available, which are colour coated to both faces of the curtain
Safety compliant insulated shutters
All our roller shutter door have been fully tested to CPR (Construction Products Regulationg) EN13241-1:2003 + A1:2011 by a UKAS accredited testing laboratory and is supplied with a DoP (Declaration of Performance).
Each door is also fully compliant to the machinery directive 98 / 37 / EC
